Lhtako Dene Nation Family Services is committed to providing safe, welcoming spaces for children, youth, and families. Our goal is to strengthen families by helping them meet everyday needs and supporting them to reach their full potential. We offer personalized supports designed to reflect each family’s unique circumstances.
Every month, we host a variety of workshops, learning opportunities, and cultural events. Our community kitchen also brings people together by preparing healthy, nourishing meals on a regular basis.

Mission
We provide essential child and family services tailored to support the unique needs of children, youth, and families within the Lhtako Dene Nation.
Our goal is to empower and uplift our community through a variety of nation-driven, culturally appropriate services. programs, and resources.
Language & Culture
We are Dakelh people of Lhtako Territory located in central BC. We celebrate our unique cultural identity as a Nation. We have existed in our territory from time immemorial. We have occupied and used the lands, waters, and resources of our traditional territory throughout history.
Our identity originates from our lands, rich heritage, culture, traditions, language, and includes our oral history and traditions which have been handed down to us by our ancestors.
We honour our ancestors, knowledge keepers, and Elders by upholding the values that they preserved for us.
